Barn Maintenance Technician
Responsible for overall preventative and routine maintenance of facility buildings and equipment. Monitor computer for all house vitals, answering alarms, generator operation and upkeep.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for preventative and routine maintenance of buildings and equipment
Responsible for overall care of birds through house vital monitoring and maintenance (air, water, feed)
Responsible for generator upkeep and operation
Load and unload trucks with tractor/pay loader
Communicate with co-workers and supervisors on day-to-day maintenance issues
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Sense of urgency and system knowledge in relation to air, water and food equipment to keep chickens healthy
Maintain proper feed, water, climate and living conditions in building
Follow Biosecurity measures for site (may include shower In, coveralls and footwear changes provided by REI)
Knowledge in areas of plumbing, maintenance, electrical or mechanical
Drive tractors, trucks
Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely
Ability to read, understand and effectively communicate information through writing and speaking so others will understand
Answer alarms
Hand/Eye/Foot Coordination
Independent Self Starter/Team Player
Attention to detail
Advanced English: fluent: speaking, reading and writing
Mathematical skills: General Arithmetic/Basic Algebra/Percentages/Fractions

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to Helmets, Safety glasses, Harness and Respirator mask

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
