Contract Pullet Manager

Job Summary:
The Contract Pullet Manager oversees all functions
of the contract grower pullet sites including but not limited to: ensuring a
safe work environment, managing independent contractors/employees and cost
center's financial objectives. The Contract Pullet Manager ensures
producers provide a safe work place, implement and follows safety rules and
programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible
for overall management of contract pullet sites
Accountable
for cost center's financial objectives and reporting
Performs
Routine Site Evaluations
Responsible
for overall care of birds
Oversees
management of bird movements and inventories
Supervises
vaccine orders, inventories and schedules
Manages
lab submissions
Reports
all pullet site activity routinely to management
Manages and schedule bird
crew activities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
1-3
years supervisory experience
Ability
to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid
conclusions in forecasting and anticipating company needs
Interpersonal
skills with ability to maintain a professional customer service
orientation and resolve conflicting interests with the goal of obtaining
cooperation
Ability
to effectively solve problems and deal with a variety of changing
situations under stress
Independent
Self Starter/Team Player
Attention
to detail
Travel
as required
Valid
Driver's License
Computer
Skills: MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Internet, Touch Screens
Mathematical
Skills: Logical/Analytical, Percentages, Fractions, Moderate Algebra
Ability

Advanced
English: fluent in: speaking, reading and writing

Reports and taking any necessary action to prevent
food safety and food quality problems from occurring

Food Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support
the SQF system and other 3rd party audits
Performs other tasks as assigned

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
