Human Resources Administrator
Job Summary:
The Human Resource Administrator assists in a variety of Human Resource related topics and projects such as documentation filing, benefit administration, compensation, employee changes, new hire orientation and reporting. Provides organizational, communications and systems support for the Human Resource Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists the Human Resource Manager with everyday functions
Orders background checks, drug and physical screens on all new employees
Prepares new hire files and maintains files as required
Conducts new employee orientation
Processes Human Resources forms including Employee Data Forms, Terminations and Performance Evaluations
Administers benefits enrollment review processes, intern programs and other projects as needed
Schedules events, travel training and meetings as requested
Assists in the analyze of statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of employee problems and provide recommendations to correct them
Partners with employees and managers to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations
Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures in order to maintain continual improvement
Assists with wage data, verifying employment, garnishments, job descriptions, employee relations, unemployment claims and staff meetings
Understands and interprets company, state and federal human resource policies and procedures
Maintains and verifies continued revisions needed on SOP's
Provides assistance and backup to Office Support Assistant when needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
3 years' experience in human resources or a related field
Knowledge and understanding of human resource laws
Above Average Excel Skills including but not limited to the use of Pivot Tables, Formula's, V-lookup and Charts
Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
Computer Skills-Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Internet, Photo, Publisher
Ability to read, understand and effectively communicate information through writing and speaking so others will understand
Strong problem resolution skills and the ability to effectively respond to questions, concerns and complaints from department leaders, internal customers and employees
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Attention to detail
Multi-tasking and organizational skills
Independent Self-Starter/Team Payer
Comfortable serving in a highly visible capacity in the Corporate setting

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
